MICHAEL MILLER
Mike has achieved winning outcomes for criminal, civil, and domestic relations clients in statewide municipal and common pleas courts, the Second District Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court. His practical outcome-driven approach yields descriptions as a "personal connection like no other lawyer" by his clients and an "aggressive representation with personal service" by his peers. Injured victims have recovered well over $1 million through Mike's representation in auto accident, dog bite, product liability and wrongful death claims. He has successfully handled a variety of business litigation cases, ranging from partnership disputes to defense of a non-compete agreement for a nationally-recognized hair stylist. Some of his biggest wins, though, have come representing people at their most challenging moments: guiding spouses and parents through the trying experience of divorce and custody, as well as managing litigation of high-asset divorces. Or as exhibited by his reversal of criminal conviction won before the Ohio Supreme Court in just his second year of practice. Mike can formulate the right game plan to best fit the individual and unique needs of clients, in an efficient manner. When litigation becomes necessary, he draws on his experience in the courtroom to craft effective strategies producing outcomes worthy of his clients' trust and praise.
Mike also uses his experience as an attorney to help the greater community. He serves as legal counsel for over 40 homeowner and condominium owner associations as well as housing cooperatives. Mike has been selected to regularly serve as visiting judge to the Kettering Municipal Court where he presides over the criminal and traffic docket. Mike regularly acts as an advocate, teacher, coach, trustee and mentor and applies the tools gained in each capacity to serve his clients.
