MICHAEL BRUSH
Mike first worked for the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office, where he successfully prosecuted over 400 felony cases. He has extensive first chair jury trial experience, including over 20 jury trials, a number of which were murder cases. As a prosecutor, Mike established a reputation for being hardworking and willing to take any case to trial. This valuable courtroom experience allows Mike to convey his client's message to a judge or jury to obtain a favorable outcome. Mike represents his clients with the same confidence, hard work, and dedication no matter what type of problem his client is facing.

After leaving the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office, Mike used his courtroom experience working for a large law firm defending insurance companies, as well as expanding his criminal defense practice. As a criminal defense attorney Mike has successfully tried a number of jury trials resulting in not guilty verdicts and dismissals.
With his unique experience defending personal injury cases, Mike is familiar with the claims handling process and works diligently to obtain settlements for his clients. With Miller, Westwood, & Brush, he has been influential in obtaining millions of dollars in settlement funds for his clients.

In addition to Criminal law and Personal injury cases, Mike is also proficient in OVI cases, juvenile delinquency, abuse, neglect and dependency cases, custody matters and protection orders. Mike serves as a part-time prosecutor for the City of Miamisburg primarily handling cases for Miami Township, Ohio.
Mike has won several awards based on his work as an attorney. He was most recently recognized as one of America's top 100 criminal defense attorneys for 2022. For the 6th straight year, he was recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers, an honor attained by attorneys who achieve a high degree of peer recognition and professional excellence in their field. Outside of the Courtroom, Mike volunteers extensively throughout the community. He was previously a member of the Wright State University Alumni Board. He was also previously a mentor through Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Greater Miami Valley (BBBSGMV) for several years, serving to develop positive relationships and instill greater confidence in young students. Mike also helps to raise funds and awareness in the ongoing fight against cancer. Through his dedication and tireless service to the community, Mike has won several awards for his community service, both within the local community and throughout the State of Ohio.
